Living life together & creating beautiful memories

The Skills Training Centre (STC) was launched in 2019 and supports refugee women, mainly from Iran, Afghanistan and Ukraine. These women find themselves in a vulnerable situation as they live in a foreign country with a different culture and language, and they have no work or income. Our P&DTC (Professional & Discipleship Training Center) lessons have begun, and we are more than excited! So many students have shown interest that the seats are full and we’ll be welcoming students to our next round of courses. This course is focused on professional development, and we’ve received very positive feedback so far from the students who are eager to learn and develop in this area.

Soap Making

body and shampoo soap. Some of the soap is given to other refugee ministries in Athens, a beautiful image of the refugee population serving each other. Other soap is sold to provide income for the ladies’ families.

Hot Meals

Requests for hot meals and groceries for refugees in Athens continue to grow. Last month through our program, AXIA Compassion, we delivered a record number of 5,500 hot meals and 400 grocery bags. We are grateful to have the facilities and supplies to meet this need; yet our prayer is that the need reduces, meaning that self-support has become more possible within the refugee population.
