Costas and Sofia Vitalakis are two very special people who are spending their days of retirement to serve people in need! They have come on board as the "Katafygio” (“Refuge”) to reach Greek homeless people and migrants from Eastern Europe at HM’s Evripidou Center. Since 2004, their team of dedicated volunteers and HM staff reach out weekly to hundreds of people on the streets of Athens through hot meals and food bags they prepare.

We need more volunteers to help us meet both the physical and spiritual needs of these individuals. Our services include laundry, showers, clothing and shoe distribution, and Bible studies for seekers. We also offer counseling to help people reintegrate into society.
