We praise God for a wonderful evangelistic outreach in Messolonghi in partnership with the Patras church. Eight people from Athens – including five young people – joined a larger team from Zefyri and Patras to continue to proclaim the gospel and to build relationships in the Roma community. 

On the Sunday afternoon, about 130 of us – including at least 15 Roma families we have been visiting for over three years – gathered at the Mimosa Restaurant in Kryoneri for worship, preaching, fellowship and food. The Patras church hired a bus to collect the Roma families from Agrinio and Aitoliko while we used the HM van and private cars to fetch and carry other families from Messolonghi. The gospel message was presented by Brother Augustin, a pastor from Romania, and a number of people came forward during the time of prayer.    

At the same time, the young people from Athens organized an excellent kids program for about 40 Roma kids, including a bible story and various craft activities. We returned safely to Athens very late on Sunday night, with tired bodies but grateful hearts.
