ISXYS invites Greeks to experience cross-cultural ministry through short-term mission trips, training, and education

The Need

A world without hope for tomorrow, a world without a savior, a dying world. We need to get engaged to make a difference which counts for eternity - missions. The word ISXYS means with the power of God. The call is: Go and make disciples of all Nations!

ISXYS is a short-term missionary program organized by Hellenic Ministries especially for Greeks, whether living in Greece or abroad. It is an intense missions experience for people who love the Lord and are willing to serve Him through various opportunities.

Our Response

We connect volunteers with practical service opportunities through short-term missions trips. Our ministry partners in Uganda and Peru require aid in children’s ministry, teaching in schools, helping in clinics, visiting the poor, cleaning houses, participating in building projects or reaching street children. We can link you with multiple opportunities for serving worldwide!

Usually held the week after Easter, several ‘mini missions schools’ have taken place thus far in Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus. Led by pioneer missionary teachers, these short training programs equip participants with tools needed for ministry, walking them through the Bible and delving into various topics such as muslim outreach or animism.

Within walking distance of HM’s main office, our downtown mission base serves as a platform for launching missionaries and accommodating short-term volunteers. It is equipped with a library, training room for seminars, office and guest-room.

Your Participation

If you would like to encounter a first-hand experience in the service of our Lord. To develop a passion for the un-reached. To share the gospel in a foreign culture and language. To build a vision for your life. To use this experience as a potential stepping-stone into full-time service in missions. To increase the burden for prayer. To become more effective in your own church.
