After more than 40 years of God’s faithful provision, we are humbled to see how Hellenic Ministries has grown into a global family with regional support offices across four continents. For many years, it has been our prayer to establish a meaningful and vibrant connection with the Body of Christ in the UK and Ireland. Today, we are overjoyed to announce that this long-held vision has become a reality.
With great excitement, we introduce Marcus Letts as our new UK Regional Director. Marcus and his wife, Emily, embody a passion for Christ, a heart for missions, and a vision for mobilising others into Kingdom work. These are truly exciting times, full of God-ordained opportunities.
Our goal in this start-up year of 2025 is simple: to galvanise and grow a sustainable base of individuals and churches who will Give, Pray, Go and Send in support of Hellenic Ministries’ vision to help multiply Christ-centred community in Greece and the Near East for years and decades to come.
"Consider the impact we've seen in recent years: since 2015, over 7,000 volunteers have served in Lesvos in response to the Syrian refugee crisis, and more than 1.5 million Bibles have been distributed door-to-door across Greece. The Lord is moving powerfully, and we believe the UK Support Office will play a vital role in fuelling this movement."
In early April, HM UK was officially launched. HM delegates from Greece, the US, and Australia visited. Over three days, they had an inspiring Annual Board Meeting, an evening with Johnathan Macris, and a Mission Day-themed Cafe Church service. Reflecting on everything God did, our team is already excited by our plans in outline for next year’s meetings as we seek to build on this firm foundation.
