Even though the New Testament was penned in ancient Greek, many Greek people today have yet to read the Bible for themselves. Through Operation Joshua, more than 1.5 million New Testaments in modern Greek were distributed to all of rural Greece and the islands, paving the way for further evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. The opportunity is now immense.

Our strategy is to visit contacts in villages where New Testaments have already been distributed and to build relationships with those who are hungry to learn more about the word of God. We initiate home Bible studies and return regularly to teach the scriptures and serve in any way we can. As people come to faith and the group expands, we disciple them and identify, encourage, and equip local leaders. We also strengthen isolated pockets of believers, helping them to expand their circle of influence.
