One picture is worth a thousand words…
The Afghan student in the photo is a mother of 4 children and has not allowed anything to stop her from her thirst for learning... neither the rain, nor the heatwave, nor the children, nor the many problems she often faces. When she was pregnant with her last child, she started attending the Farsi lessons and biblical studies at our Social & Medical Center "The Good Samaritan" and then throughout the quarantine, she practiced what she was learning. Soon she will go to the advanced Farsi class and at the same time, she will start English lessons! We are very proud of her perseverance, which is a life lesson to everyone around her!
