Helping those in need at "Anamnisi"
The "Anamnisi" (Remembrance) Outreach Center in Chania, Crete, is again opening its doors to vulnerable groups of any nationality during this new season. The venue’s manager, Nelly Tsarsambalidis, says, “Apart from Iranian and Afghan refugees and migrants, people with various needs from Algeria, Bulgaria, Albania and even Greece arrive at our door. We are happy to serve them and to know them”.
In compliance with all the protection measures due to the pandemic, the following services are reopening at the center:
- distribution of clothes
- shower facilities
- washing clothes
- free coffee for adults & hot chocolate for children (take away)
- Bible studies outdoors
