There are two basic kinds of organizations – organizations that are governed by rules and laws, and those that are value driven. We feel that value driven ministries (or churches) will be less likely to end up as dying institutions with glossy veneers. Our core values help us to stay focused on the essentials. They ultimately strengthen our commitment to principle, and to one another. While giving us greater latitude in expression, we are empowered to be grace-oriented versus law and judgment driven. On a practical note, the spirit of six or seven principles is easier to remember and more powerful to motivate than endless rules and guidelines!
It is HM’s purpose to regard and honor the individual as the most important resource for the furthering of the Kingdom. Our core values are the means to ensure that we will not deviate from this commitment.

Every organization is shaped by its own character, culture and views. Our core values set the standard of performance for everyone on the team. Integrity, or living out our core values, lends us trust. Trust gives us the means to take spiritual leadership. Godly leadership, in turn, enables us to pave the way through uncertain and uncharted waters, giving others passage to both the joys of genuine ministry and Godly commitment towards this end.

Christ-like, towel-in-hand servant leadership is our standard.
Each one should be ministering in a spiritual capacity, teaching God’s Word to others.
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” 2 Tim. 2:2.
“E” – EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE WORD
Minimum Biblical training requirements are essential.
On-going training (“sharpening the sword”) is necessary.
“R” – RELENTLES COMMITMENT TO FINANCIAL INTEGRITY
Complete financial transparency and accountability is the standard.
“V” – VALUING PERSONAL INTEGRITY OVER PUBLIC SUCCESS
By God’s grace, we strive to be Christ-like in character in daily living, being men and women of responsibility and our word.
“A” – ACCOUNTABLE TO ONE ANOTHER
Each member of the team is accountable to someone for professional and spiritual protection.
“N” – NURTURERS OF YOUNG BELIEVERS (DISCIPLES)
We genuinely care for the needs (and rewards) of our disciples-in-the-making.

No member of the team is an island! Each participates on a team.
New team members (missionaries) will be coached for two years.
